October 04, 2002: While in Scotland last week, our tour director played this CD throughout our trip. It added a depth of warmth and feeling to the historic sites we saw. If you love Scotland or her music, this is an excellent selection for you. Every time you hear it, it will refresh your experience and give you a sense of this wonderful land. Beautifully done.

November 21, 2001: I recently took a friend, a native of Glascow now living in the States, to stay with relatives. I popped Phil Coulter's Scottish Tranquility into the car's tape player on low volume, hoping to bring some peace to my friend's life, since she was experiencing a very trying ordeal. She almost immediately noticed the melodies and her spirits rebounded with Phil Coulter's wonderful, emotionally intense interpretation of her native Scotland. I have enjoyed this treasure of music many, many times since and each time it has given me a spiritual lift, perhaps like the comfort it gave my distraught Highlands friend finding her way to relatives and respit.
