I bought this CD on a gloomy day in Chicago, and within minutes of city traffic and this album was in "A New Day". As a performing musician I knew to expect great things from the King's Singers. I consider this album one of their very best. "The Nouveau Poor" can't help but bring a smile. What wit and musicianship! "Rythmn of Life" is delightful; "The Gambler", infectious. The timing and placement of the tunes is itself wonderful. Don't miss this one! PS: And my wife has now grabbed it and won't give it back!

I liked the Annie Laurie CD better; however, I would still buy this CD, if only for the first track, the title cut. It is a wonderful, uplifting, tranquil, yet energetic song about hope and the future... hence the title, ''New Day.'' The voices blend as perfectly as ever, and the words should make one pause and ponder. There are other great songs on this CD, but they just don't grab me like the first song or like Annie Laurie.
