Running from 1953 to 1958, the four-disc box set The Singing Ranger, Vol. 2 contains everything Hank Snow recorded during those five years, including all the hits and a bevy of outtakes. Again, the set is not for the fairweather fan -- there's plenty of brilliant music here, but its very scope makes it appealing only to completists, who will find much to treasure.
