About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Collectables' Who Will Answer?/My Cup Runneth Over combines two late-'60s albums from Ed Ames onto one compact disc. These two albums were easy listening records, with light folk, country, and pop influences. While Ames sounds out of place on "Blowin' in the Wind," "Yesterday," and "Monday, Monday," the overall quality of the material is quite high, and singles like "My Cup Runneth Over" and "Time, Time" help make these two records some of Ames' best work of the era. September 05, 2009: Ed Ames is one of the few voices that can carry a variety of songs well. His "My Cup Runneth Over" is one of our favorites. It is warm and wonderful and worth the listen. The words to the song have great warmth and meaning to us. We love the CD and would highly recommend it to others.
