About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Hood takes Brook’s already-ethereal style and gives it a future-friendly shine with subtle programming touches.... A near-symphonic array of ambient textures. Jason Ferguson, Harp Magazine

November 05, 2007: what a superb record this is! really well produced ,great melodies ,almost like in a world of its own.Michael Brook is someone whose name I see on films but this is the first 'artist' CD i have come across of his.He is superb, such dynamic movement across all the "mostly instrumental" tracks. My favorite is "Tangerine" for the fantastic guitar"?" sound....on 2nd thoughts it could be a Tibetan ceremonial horn-either way it's great as are all the sounds on this stellar CD-really awakens the imagination-get it! make someone's day mellow!

November 05, 2007: I'm not normally a girl to sit and listen to an album from start to finish but Bellcurve lets me do nothing but. It's really the perfect record to zen out to. I've listened to RockPaperScissors quite a bit and this is absolutely the tastiest remix ever and the ideal companion cd. It's both different enough and yet all my favorite bits are still in there in one form or another. I just love it.
