About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

A well-chosen, 19-track compilation balancing the radio hits with the longer, more complex song poems. It's a good sampler (and contains enough of the good tracks from Strange Days that we didn't bother to list that album separately), but this is one group for whom you need to hear the whole story. June 06, 2003: I never knew of the group before I had to watch the movie played by Val Kilmer. How interesting the songs were. The lifestyle of Jim is that of a real rock and roll star. I wish that he had lived abid longer to thrill the world like his countapart Bob Marley did with Raggae music. My favouraite songs of these artists are "the End, LA Woman, Roadhouse Blues,Riders on the storm just to name a few. I think that the whole album is a blessing to all rock and roll listeners. I am priviladged to have a copy of this CD. I hope that people who have still not come to understand what this group was all about shoud try listening to it just for a while and see for themselves.
