Editorial Reviews

Sunday is a day when your personal soundtrack takes a more reflective turn. With that in mind, we present this collection of down-tempo eclectica that rewards the ready ear and the quiet mind. Sunday Music 2 features singer-songwriters from the twangy (Mindy Smith) to the torchy (Jeff Buckley) to the breezy (Jem) to the Beatleseque (Badly Drawn Boy) -- each putting a new perspective on this most personal of days. Fans of KCRW will find this a most welcome collection. Each collection boasts a raft of exclusive remixes. Barnes & Noble

March 30, 2009: This is a CD everyone in my family enjoys - from my 78 year-old mother to my 20 and 23 year-old daughters. I play it in the car and it makes highway driving peaceful. We play it as background music when we get together for family conversation with a good glass of wine. I highly recommend this CD as well as "Sunday Music 1."

September 29, 2007: I heard Josh Golden at Barnes and Noble here in Oregon and being a big fan I was curious what they were playing. Turns out it was this CD, and with Mindy Smith on it, as well as Imogen Heap and Jeff Buckley, I thought I couldn't lose. I LOVE this cd and hope to find time to try Vol 1 too. The mix is wonderful of course for Sunday Mornings, but on Friday I like it ever better. Thanks for reading.
