This album is some of Jack Off Jill's best work. It is their most sophisticated and well put together album - even though they only have two. I bought this album shortly after it came out in 2000 and I still love it to this very day. The emotion Jessicka can put into her vocals is astounding and perfectly unique. Though this album is a little more melodic than previous JOJ releases, it seems to fit them just the same. Sometimes I am in the mood for Star No Star and sometimes Choke - yes, the early stuff. Oddly, through all of the differences the band had while recording this album and the inevitable break up, they still delivered a beautiful record. Five stars. I love it.
