Editorial Reviews

This is in fact first-generation Polish-American music from recordings made in Chicago and New York between 1927 and 1933, and very nice too. Very varied also, with plenty of vocal material as well as early examples of polka as it prepared to metamorphose into an American ethnic (and to some extent regional) style.
