Recorded alternately in Puerto Rico and New York City, this is one of the most satisfying productions of "El Canario." Salsa may have been suffering from creative stagnation during the 1990s (not that it mattered, as the era was quite profitable), but the singer and company nevertheless understood that the genre was dance-oriented and that the energy could not be brought to a halt. This effort is a notable example, featuring great charts by arranging stars Ray Santos, Julio Alvarado, Mario Ortiz, and Isidro Infante.
