But one of the most creative and open minded of these composers is none other than Yoko Shimomura, who has captured the imagination and attention of fans and gamers alike. With her clever range of expertise in musical scores, she has finally put together some of her best works in one CD: Drammatica: The Very Best of Yoko Shimomura From some of her earlier titles such as Live A Live and Kingdom Hearts, to her latest achievement of Somnus (Final Fantasy Versus XIII), Yoko Shimomura never fails to deliver her finest quality in her melodic works. I recommend this CD to everyone who enjoys video game soundtracks and beyond.
