About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Sarah Brightman, like Andrea Bocelli (who makes a cameo appearance on this CD), is equally at home in classical and popular music. "The Angel of Music," as she's called by her fans, made her name starring in the musicals of her former husband, Andrew Lloyd-Webber. But she's also sung operetta and shared the stage with such operatic luminaries as Plácido Domingo. This chart-busting recording shows both sides of Brightman's personality, including sweet pop songs, like the title track (a duet with Bocelli that became a runaway hit), as well as classical selections, such as the bright "Alleluja" (from Mozart's "Exsultate, jubilate") the ethereal "In Trutina" (from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana"), and the dulcet "O mio babbino caro" (from Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi"). May 13, 2006: I love Sarah Brightman, but in this particular album, she sounds exactly like she either has peanut butter stuck to the roof of her mouth, like in "O Mio Babbino Caro" or her tongue is coated with vinegar, like in "Tu Quieres Volver." She has a beautiful voice, but she seriously needs to hire a new vocal coach.

October 06, 2004: I love this album! I've always loved the song Con Te Partiro and thats got to be the best song on this album. Sarah was great, as usual. Also, andrea Brocelli has a great voice.
