Jorge Drexler

Uruguayan singer/songwriter Jorge Drexler got involved in music while learning how to play piano at the age of five. Later, he attended guitar and composition classes. It was in 1989 when Drexler began songwriting, recording his first album, called La Luz Que Sabe Robar, in 1992 and Radar in 1994. A year later he moved to Spain, having the opportunity to perform live along with Joaquín Sabina, Pablo Milanés, and Víctor Manuel, among others. After signing up to Virgin Records, Vaiven was produced by Gonzalo Lasheras, followed by Llueve in 1998. Later, he teamed up with Peyote Asesino's Juan Campodónico and Carlos Casacubierta to make Frontera, released in 1999. Drago Bonacich
