Chris Houston

Canadian singer and guitarist Chris "Baby" Houston started his professional musical career near the end of the '70s as a member of the Forgotten Rebels. While touring and recording with the rock group, Houston polished his talents and found his own strengths and weaknesses. Some of the albums he did with the Forgotten Rebels were In Love With the System, Tomorrow Belongs to Us, and This Ain't Hollywood.

By the middle of the '80s, Houston had given up the comfort of a group to go it solo. Some of his works found their way onto compilation albums in 1985 and 1986. During the latter year, he completed a full-length offering of his own, Hate Filled Man, released under Zulu Records. The tracks on the album received only moderate attention, and it turned out that the debut was Houston's first and last solo contribution to the world of music. ~ Charlotte Dillon, All Music Guide
