Like its predecessor, World's Greatest Bluegrass Bands shouldn't be thought of as definitive history of the genre -- after all, Bill Monroe is missing -- but on its own terms, it's excellent, featuring 32 tracks from some of the biggest names in the genre, including the Osborne Brothers, Eddie Adcock, Joe Maphis, Lester Flatt, Josh Graves, Grandpa Jones and Don Reno.
