March 15, 2008: Reissued in Germany and Australia, this enduring import has survived on it's own merits. This anthology is probably the best to come down the pike in many a year. It displays the "mature, sophisticated" Connie Francis from her neglected great Lp tracks. Her voice is at its peak and her power and emotion is pure ear candy. Every song is a winner and her interpretations of each makes them her own. There are too many highlights, just look at the track listing--everyone is a gem by one the last truly living icons in music today. This is a must have for fans and serious music lovers alike. I cannot recommend this disc highly enough to do it justice. The sonics are superior although the packaging could have been a little more comprehensive. But why complain?
