This companion piece to Rhino's 2000 compilation Women & Songs continues the series' predilection for randomness. Once again, the latter half of the 20th century is plundered for female pop hits with no real feel for flow. While many of the selections are excellent (k.d. lang's "Constant Craving," the Cardigans' "Lovefool," and Lisa Loeb's "Stay [I Missed You]"), most folks would agree that Madonna, Sixpence None the Richer, and Enya were never meant to occupy the same playlist.
