Sutton Foster is known for her Broadway acting and singing career but this CD brings a whole new light to her fabulous voice. Her rerecording of some old songs like "Up On the Roof" and "Sunshine on My Shoulders" turn these into brand new and brilliant tunes. Honestly, I never liked John Denver's version (found it too sappy) but I love the way Sutton signs this song. The most amazing song, by far, is the duet between Sutton and Megan McGinnis, signing "Flight". It is hauntingly beautiful. This CD is well worth owning.

Sutton Foster's debut CD is as honest, warm, and soulful as the artist herself. Although generally known for her ability to bring down the house with her powerhouse belt on this album you get to see the more introspective and softer side of this singer/actress/dancer who is silly, sexy, sassy, sincere, and sublime all at the same time! Her album sweeps you away and takes you to a quiet retreat where you actually do believe wishes can come true!
