September 27, 2006: This album will change your perception of modern folk music. The level of musicianship is stunning throughout. The fusion of folk, jazz and dance syles is amazing and McGoldrick's flute and pipe playing is sublime, not to mention Shaw's keyboard work. My favourite tracks include Sophie's and The Desert Road. I cannot rate this album highly enough. It has opened my eyes to the living tradition.
