...and also weep quite a few tears as you listen to this brilliantly produced double CD set of Kiki and Herb's sold out Carnegie Hall show. Even if you weren't there (and it did seem that everyone south of 23rd Street ventured up north for this night), this live set will more than compensate. If you're the kind of mindset that will appreciate an arrangement that blends The Rainbow Connection, Tomorrow Belongs to Me and Edelweiss, then you're my kind of mindset and you will love this. Not for the faint of heart. Among the many many highlights: "Sex Bomb", "Has Anyone Even Written Anything for you", "I Was Meant for the Stage", "Love Will Tear Us Apart", and especially (how K&H were going this strong after three hours) "Tonight's the Kind of Night", "Total Eclipse of the Heart", and "Running Up That Hill". The monologues of Kiki are sheer brilliance. An incredibly funny, heartfelt, gorgeous night. Highest recommendation.
