July 28, 2009: Welcome to the Canteen was never even acknowledged as an official Traffic album until the CD era. It was seen as a gathering of friends who have worked together in the past and who decided to do some songs originally done by Traffic and by Dave Mason. It's a very good album and some have had this as their sole representation of the group Traffic while other Traffic fans have seen it as just a curiosity, but either way, it's an enjoyable album to listen to.
