Editorial Reviews

The WWE has had a long-standing tradition of issuing forth compilation CDs featuring original music which wrestlers use during the dramatic walk down the aisle to the ring, going back to the '80s when the organization (then known as the WWF) issued the cult favorite The Wrestling Album. However, times and styles have changed, and this 15-song compilation features recordings from some of hard rock and heavy metal's most well-known bands, with some rap singles thrown in for good measure. Contributions from Saliva and Motörhead bookend Wreckless Intent with a potent one-two punch. It's not the best wrestling compilation out there, but it's far from the worst. July 05, 2006: Wreckless Intent is not just an alternative wrestling cd. It is also a rap and r&b cd all wrapped up into one. It is a great cd for all wrestling fans. It has Batista's theme song, "I Walk Alone." It is a great song that will have you singing the lyrics, even if you don't know it all. One of the best songs on the cd is Triple H's theme song, "King of Kings." I have that song on repeat in my cd player. I don't usually listen to alternative music, but that song has me singing out loud while driving. One song that will suit r&b fans is Candice Michelle's "Holla." I feel like this song may one day be a hit on the billboards. It is not like an ordinary wrestling song. It is a great song to dance to while driving in your car. Whether you like alternative, r&b or rap, there is a song for everybody on the cd. It is an addictive cd. Once you play it, you will not want to stop.
