May 28, 2009: While writing this review I am listening to the very CD I am critiquing, Viva La Vida - Prospekt's March Edition by Coldplay. Coldplay in this CD, metaphorically, spreads out spider webs of different music styles (all not straying far from what Coldplay is infamous for, which is powerful words and great music) seeing which spider webs catch the most flys. I like almost every song in both CDs. "Life in Technicolor" and "Postcards From Far Away" are the only two wordless songs. The only song I do not like is "Lost!- Feat with some rapper(forget his name)," which I really think ruins the song, but my viewpoint is biased since I really do not like rap. If someone reading this review is pondering and wondering if one will get there dollars worth purchasing this CD, I extremely recommend it. Three of the songs literally have another song attached to it so you are getting more songs (The songs with more than six minutes are the ones with this). I say there are two songs because there is a noticable difference of music styles in the three particular songs. The CD contains over an hour of music(almost 75 minutes), which means you pay about 21 cents a minute or about a third of a penny a second(If you are a member and can purchase the CD for $15.74) So all in all, Viva La Vida - Prospekt's March is the best music I have ever listened to and the songs(in my mind) raise my spirits, stimulate the mind, and is just one of the best ways, besides reading a good book (got to love good books ^_^), to sit and pass an hour or two. And trust me, if you like this CD as much as I do, you will sit and pass many upon many hours listening to Viva La Vida - Prospekt's March Edition by Coldplay.
