This is a powerful album. The songs are masterfully written and/or arranged by Prizeman and performed by Libera. Tracks to highlight: 2" Always with You- haunting, relatively simple harmonies compared to some other songs, yet effective. Tom's voice works well for it. 7" Recordare- Great buildup of tension and energy in the crescendo, and amazing duet. 8" Wings of a Dove- Definitely more upbeat than most of the album, so a good contrast. Fun song. 9" Something Sings- Again, a bit haunting. Amazing solo and choral parts. On this track, Be Still My Soul, and Gaudete, Prizeman at one point takes out the treble melody "generally with others singing it down the octave" and focuses more on the inner voice harmonies. Very effective. 10" New Day- Always been a fan of this song. Libera does it justice. 12" Sing for Ever- Amazing song and harmonies. Ben does an amazing job on the solo. I would say more, except it would take quite a while to actually go in depth in explanation for each song. Best thing to do is buy the CD and make your own judgements.
