December 12, 2006: This is an outstanding and recommended performance of La Traviata with the autralian diva Joan Sutherland ( my favorite soprano after Callas) and Luciano Pavarotti (my favorite tenor after Caruso) with the National Philarmonic Orchestra and it was recorded in 1981 so the singers weren´t at they prime but belive me they did an impeccable work and i`m very impresive because of the age of Pavarotti and Sutherland ( going to 60) and both had a powerfull voice at this performance and both reached the high notes You can discover with no doubt that Sutherland is "The Voice Of The Century" and Pavarottu The Best tenor with a velveted voice
