Editorial Reviews

Absolutely hysterically snarky fun from the first handful of religious-themed children's videos released with a garden full of characters. The videos and their songs have proven so popular since the early-'90s release that an album became necessary. Fortunately for parents, the lyrics and music on this 16-track album are so cleverly intertwined that there's much to appreciate for them as well. In fact, the "VeggieTales Theme Song" is hilarious all by itself with its tagalong tuba frantically trying to keep up with the frenetic pace of the song. Just hysterical. This collection includes the reportedly famous and beloved "Hairbrush Song." Highly recommended for the children's musical library. Dacia A. Blodgett-Williams, All Music Guide

A Must-Have!by Anonymous

June 01, 2002: If you're tired of endless nursery rhymes or children's characters that bore you to tears, get ready for the Veggies. They're funny, catchy and so enjoyable. Best of all, the message that they're giving your child is a healthy, positive one. If my daughter hears a friend saying that he or she is scared, she just sings the 'God is Bigger' song and tells them they don't need to be afraid anymore.
