June 09, 2009: Listeners who bought the recent Astral Weeks Live CD and liked it should check this recent re-release out. I think it is a better listen than the original Astral Weeks album. The rythms and arrangements are more straight ahead and I feel the individual songs are stronger. Streets of Arklow and You Don't Pull No Punches are my favorites. Morrison was so disappointed by Fleece's commercial failure he didn't record again for about 3 years.
