This disc by two Southern rock legends who happen to be brothers, Johnny (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Donnie (.38 Special) VanZant, is pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be. The album contains ten tracks of well-written and performed Southern rock. Although there are no real surprises or chances taken, the CD should definitely please fans of the genre and bluesy rock in general. Gary Hill, All Music Guide

March 12, 2001: If you like 38 Special you will really enjoy this CD. Crisp and clean music just like I expected from the Van Zant's. Can't wait for the next one.

March 04, 2001: I picked this up used at a local music store. It is a pre-release copy. This album rocks! Great Rock and Roll tunes with bluesy guitars and a southern flavor. One of the best purchases I've made in a while.
