Universal Love has a mellow sound with a jazzy touch, where the predecessor Never Say Never had an '80s sound. The album is produced by Andy "Madhatter" Holmes and Josef. "Perfect" is a killer ballad with the talented Bobby Depasois on lead vocals. "Waiting for Your Love" is a real gem that has that Kleeer vibe. Woody Cunningham displays his sweet vocals in the melancholic "My Turn to Be Blue" and "Mr. Radio," a dedication to all the DJs and radio personalities. The album finishes with a fair remake of Leon Ware's classic "Rock'n You Eternally." The vocal quality of Cunningham, the fine instrumentation, and some strong compositions make this a good set. ~ Jos Veestraeten, All Music Guide All Music Guide
