October 28, 2008: Their second album is a psychedelic space rock masterpiece! "Silver Bird" starts the album in good fashion with some extended jamming but the album's main piece is of course "Flying" that manages to reach the 26-minute mark! The main focus is on Bolton's guitar playing. His style is very limited from a technical point of view as he basically plays minor key pentatonic bluesy phrasings throughout but he puts a lot of emotion into it! For me it never has a dull moment! If this is not the longest song in rock history, then I'm pretty sure it must be among the top five! Another long song is the 18-minute "Star Storm" that goes in a similar jamming style with some trippy playing in the middle. Phil Mogg is on vocals while the rhythm section is the classic one with Pete Way on bass and Andy Parker on drums! This is for fans of psychedelic space rock! You won't be disappointed!
