Editorial Reviews

The soundtrack to Peter Weir's Jim Carrey makeover The Truman Show largely consists of Burkhard Dallwitz's appropriately eerie, comical and sentimental score, yet its also features music from Philip Glass, Chopin, and Wojciech Kilar. The entire collection is remarkably ambitious for an event movie and the music makes for one of the more intriguing soundtracks of 1998. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

July 23, 2005: Wow, outstanding, saw the movie last week, and the sound track is just as phonominal. I do wish it had that lovely piano peice though... heard it on someone's cell phone few days ago, that is why I bought the CD.

March 27, 2002: Great CD! Loved the music...listen to it all the time. Only one problem. It is missing Rondo Alla Turca (You know... the piece they played through the entire beginning of the movie?!) Otherwise, it is a very good CD.
