About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

This live double album, released five years after Randy Rhoads' death, showcases a hard rock guitarist whose all-around ability was arguably second only to Eddie Van Halen. Osbourne leads his best band lineup through the entire Blizzard repertoire, plus a few Diary and Sabbath numbers. Of special note are Rhoads' unaccompanied solos, leaving no doubts about his virtuosity, and the studio outtakes of his short solo piece, "Dee." Rhoads' entire output is absolutely essential for guitar freaks, but he sounds even better live than in the studio. Steve Huey, All Music Guide

February 15, 2004: This cd is awsome, it is a great collection of Ozzy's best including songs from Black Sabbath and solo. And it includes a lengthly version of "Suicide Solution" featuring a fabulous guitar solo by Randy Roads that you can't get just anywhere.

July 22, 2002: This tribute to Randy (RIP) could not be more fitting. You get to hear the pyrotechnics even if you never had the opportunity to experience Ozzy and his hired gunner live. Moreover, on one CD, this is a bargain in content and length compared to Budokan and Live And Loud. This one is THE must have of anyone interested in the Best of Ozzy, and/or Ozzy live.
