Whether it's Michael Masser and Ronald Dean Miller's title track, Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff's "Me & Mrs. Jones" and "Close the Door," or Thom Bell's "Betcha by Golly Wow," the effect is the same: seamless, flawlessly executed, and dreamy. This is pillow-talk music, made not for paying attention to, but for providing that certain backdrop for other activities, and as such, it delivers, but the cover art is worse than cheesy.
