October 22, 2003: I am a 39 year old woman with 4 children of my own, 1 older brother and 1 younger sister, I have had the chance to grow up in a wonderful family,my father a minister and my mother was our song leader in church, I never knew of all the battles that my mom had to overcome. All the pain and sorrow that she had hidden away, her mother died when she was only 7, her father had been crippled in an accident at work, and she was left to help care for the family that was left behind, her mother a god fearing woman, how could she not follow in her mother's footsteps. That was many many years ago she has overcome a lot since then, now she's trying to cope with the divorce of her and my father, he has remarried and she was left alone. A couple of days ago I went over to see her, and she said there's a song that you have to hear, thats the very first time I heard, too close to the mirror, she said thats me! My mother is a very talented singer and that song has really touched her life, you have truly blessed someone who thought they were down and out, from this daughter's heart I thank you. This song has showed me that your never to far down that god can't hear you, and sometimes when you can't see anything worth his blessing, isn't it wonderful to know that he can. And I have to ask although she hasn't ask me to, will that song ever come out on accompanyment track, it has become her lifes story and I would like to get it for her as a surprise, would you please let me know if it ever becomes available. Once again I thank you if there were a hundred stars I would give it to this song, because it has blessed someone whom I love dearly thank you.
