September 11, 2005: No other sound track evokes the memory of a movie for me than this one! Listening brings not only the movie images back to mind, it brings the accompanying emotions as well. I've listened dozens of times to the entire track, and played it as I drove through the town of Monroeville, Alabama where the movie has its geographic origin. (Authors Harper Lee and Truman Capote grew up as neighbors in this town.)

March 06, 2004: Few soundtracks utterly capture the spirit of the films they serve. This is one which does. Its haunting melodies and reflective moods do justice to a film that featured Gregory Peck in his greatest-ever performance, and that contributed much to raising the national conscience on issues of racial injustice.
