About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Klaus Badelt's score for The Time Machine is a traditional affair, consisting of symphonic, string-driven pieces that are alternately brooding and anthemic. Most of the tracks, such as "Bleeker Street," "Godspeed," "Emma," and "I Don't Belong Here," are fairly bittersweet and even romantic-sounding, although "Time Travel" and "Morlocks Attack" do inject some tension into the proceedings. Ultimately, The Time Machine is a graceful score -- perhaps too graceful and restrained for the movie for which it was composed, but a competently crafted collection of film music nonetheless. February 20, 2005: This is possibly the best score I have ever heard. It is brilliantly thought out, and with a big enough mixture of action, romantic, and mysticall cues. I give Klaus Badelt 5 million gold stars.

June 27, 2004: I have never really been a score kind of person, if there are no words to the music I hardly ever listen, except to this. This soundtrack is very, very good! I enjoy it and listen to it the whole way through. I especially love the song "Eloi". I recommend this C.D. and movie!
