About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Thunderbirds 2 is the second soundtrack compilation from the 1960s marionette-populated series produced by Gerry Anderson, featuring a full hour of music composed and conducted by Barry Gray. It has much of the familiar action and march music associated with The Thunderbirds, but also its share of musical surprises, such as the clarinet solo as part of track three's "Spoke City Jazz." The whole disc is a veritable celebration of high-quality film and television music, and is serious enough to list the names of every musician who played on the sessions, as well as the dates of those sessions, and provides an analysis of each of the tracks. And the sound is absolutely first-rate, a match for any commercial recording of the period. Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
