About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

With their major-label debut, Three Dollar Bill Y'All, Limp Bizkit quickly rose to the top of the alt-metal subgenre known as "rapcore." Part of the reason the band stood out from their peers was their kinetic, frenzied energy. They might not have many original ideas -- they are largely an outgrowth of Korn, Faith No More, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers -- but they do the sound well. They have a powerful rhythm section and memorable hooks, most of which make up for the uneven songwriting. Then again, you're not looking for perfection on a debut -- you're looking for a promising sound, and on that front, Limp Bizkit deliver. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

December 05, 2003: this album is the best of them all!! this one is the best because it has the most metal out of all of them. pollution, faith, stuck, counterfeit, sour, & leech all rok a whole lott!! the dj lethal scratch solo in faith is awesome, dj lethal is my absolute number 1 favorite dj & idol. fred is number 1 4 coolist human on earth, & wes borland i miss (cuz mike smith sux). i know it's funny that i'm makin a review of a 1997 album in 2003 but as soon as i started luvin it, i had 2 do this. results may vary sux cuz mike ain't got an idea about how bad he is, buy all limp albumz except results may vary.
