The 25 tracks on The Very Best of Tiny Bradshaw: Well Oh Well were originally recorded for the King label in the late '40s and early '50s, and contain the majority of his beloved jump blues favorites such as "Heavy Juice," "Well Oh Well," "I'm Going to Have Myself a Ball," "Walkin' the Chalk Line," and (of course) "Train Kept A Rollin'." This Collectables compilation makes a fine primer for the novice, but collectors will want to pick up Bradshaw's chronological discs on the Classics label spotlighting 1934-1947 and 1949-1951.
