Where falls the line that separates life from art? For Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, that's a trick question. The pair, real life musicians and real life partners, starred in the indie film sensation Once, playing musicians who eventually fall in love. The Swell Season predates Once but not Hansard's career with Irish rock band The Frames. From that vantage point, the music here is an acoustic, piano-and-guitar- based departure; for fans of the movie, however, this music needs no introduction. March 27, 2008: Marketa and Glen have the most beautiful harmonies together. If you can see their movie "Once" you should and you will fall in love with their music.
