September 13, 2009: I am writing to add to my review...I also wanted to add that another good play this makes me think of is Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, which might also appeal to people who saw this play, as well.

This review was written about the CD edition.

May 31, 2004: I saw this play, and I really loved it. It was probably aimed at younger kids, but even though I'm only 15, I still loved the magic of it! The time I saw it, it was the last day it would be on Broadway, this also happened to me at the Bank St. Theatre, with Councellor at Law. I liked "If I were You", and the refrain of it is soooo stuck in my head. Even better than the adult actors, the girl who sang "Is This Love" was amazing, and had the best voice, I admire it so much! Wow, and Miles held his voice for soo long, which I can do, too. It was the cutest theatre, where Mark Twain used to sit and write (used to be a hotel or tavern, and this is what it said in my playbill at the back, so....). I wish I had my balloon from there, but I don't-I will always remember this excellent play!
