The straightforwardly named Most Romantic Classical Music in the Universe collects two discs' worth of passionate compositions, including Debussy's "Clair de lune," Saint-Saëns' "The Swan," Beethoven's "'Moonlight' Sonata, Adagio," and Satie's "Gymnopedies No. 1." Other highlights include Handel's "Largo from 'Xerxes,'" Massenet's "Meditation from 'Thaďs,'" and Rachmaninov's "Prelude." Dvorák, Janácek, Tchaikovsky, and Chopin are some of the other composers featured on this collection, which manages to be romantic, relaxing, and refined all at once. Heather Phares, All Music Guide
