About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The Many Moods of Christmas is a collection of four medleys, each with a similar theme, performed by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. The songs are performed in a very straight, orchestral style that does not take any new routes or present different ideas. The choral aspect of the music is much the same, although due to the medley style they make certain changes. The medleys are very well put together, and the format works well for the material here. In fact, the album's biggest credit is its perfect running time; at just under 50 minutes it is very concise and tight. Anyone looking for an album of choral and orchestral renditions of these songs may enjoy this very much. Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide

December 08, 2003: I remember this as an album from my childhood and am thrilled that it is on CD. Musically one of the finest Christmas compilations - and with songs not overused by other artists - probably because this is good traditional music. It is exquisite!!

December 12, 2002: This puts me in the mood for Christmas more than all of the 20 other Christmas CD's I own. Traditional and beautifully sung. I play it over and over. Much better than the various artists Christmas CD's where you like some songs and don't like others.
