Oh, it could have been so sweet! A country mix featuring such gems as the yodeling Don Walser making magic with "I'll Hold You In My Heart" and Leon Rausch (of Texas Playboy fame) revisiting "San Antonio Rose." There's even a nice duet between Beck and Willie Nelson on "Driving Nails in My Coffin." But the bottom falls out on the whole thing when Carter Burwell's rather nondescript score comes into play for the second half of the disc. This is one of those cases of "If you can't find it anywhere else and you have to have it, well, you have no choice." Tim Sheridan, All Music Guide
