January 28, 2009: I found the booklet inside somewhat lacking in the important details for which I was interested in. Sure there are lots of details that were described that are useful. Unfortunately, some of the important ones were not. Take for example the depth of the body of the guitar. No dimensions were given in text. Even the Metropolitan Museum in New York does a better job of this. It can be found in their Works of Art-Database Collection-Musical Instruments: Highlights section. This does require some diligence to find but it is not an impossible task. There you will find descriptions of the basic dimensions and the woods used by Hauser to craft this wonderful instrument. The dimensions are as follows: Total L. 97.7 cm (38 7/16); Body length: 48.5 cm (19-1/16 in.); Neck length: 32.5 cm(12-13/16 in.); Head length: 16.7 cm (6-9/16 in.); Upper bouts: 28.2 cm (11-1/16 in.) Middle bouts: 23.9 cm (9-7/16 in.) Lower bouts: 37 cm (14-9/16 in.); Depth at tail: 9.8 cm (3-7/8 in.).
