January 10, 2008: This CD sets the standard for all Gospel Jazz projects. It is exceptional from every aspects. The arrangements are superb! The musicians are the best! The choir is flawless! The first time you listen to this CD, you will enjoy it for the music and the music is powerful. Everything sounds simple and neatly packaged. But, each time you listen to it after the initial hearing, you will discover new elements and layers that will "blow you away!" To really understand the power of this CD, try to transcribe at least one composition. Their use of rhythm, harmonies, time signatures, key changes may be hard to grasp at first "they are so well integrated, you may missed them", but, don't quit--it will be worth your every effort to listen in detail.
