Collectables' The Golden Classics of Bobbie Gentry is an expanded edition of her debut album Ode to Billie Joe, featuring all the songs from the original album plus eight bonus tracks, all of which were hits: "Louisiana Man," "Okolona River Bottom Band," "He Made a Woman Out of Me," "Fancy," "Apartment," plus the Glen Campbell duets "All I Have to Do is Dream," "Let It Be Me" and "Mornin' Glory." The presence of the album tracks from Ode to Billie Joe prevents it from being a straight-ahead greatest-hits album, but The Golden Classics comes closer to filling that bill than any other disc on the market.
