The spooky themes were composed by Carpenter, along with Alan Howarth, Jack Nitzsche, Dave Davies, and Ennio Morricone. Scary highlights include the menacing, piano-anchored theme to Halloween, the bluesy Christine theme, an instrumental version of George Thorogood's rock classic "Bad to the Bone," and the creepy, sparsely synth-arranged theme to The Thing.
