About this Artist

About This Item

Luciano Pavarotti was the rare artist who could easily bridge the divide between classical and popular music. Together with an impressive roster of the best-known names in rock, pop, and jazz, Pavarotti entertained millions of people around the world with his “Pavarotti & Friends” concerts. This release is the first time that these tracks have been brought together in one album. Rarely has such a glittering array of singing legends from such varied genres been brought together at one time—on both CD and DVD!

February 16, 2009: Pavarotti-The Duets is very entertaining. One hears classic Pavarotti and the different artists singing duets with him. They are charming, surprising, dramatic at times. The one duet that absolutely charmed and surprised me was Pavarotti and Sheryl Crowe singing an opera duet together. I highly recommend this CD.

February 09, 2009: As an opera lover and a fan of the great Pavorotti, it was a wonderful addition to my collection. I would definitely recommend this to all who loved the great tenor.
