About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony had only released two albums and an EP, plus a handful of side projects, when they released Collection, Vol. 1 in the fall of 1998. Usually, that would be the sign of a rip-off, but since their albums have been notoriously uneven, this functions as a useful summary for both casual and hardcore fans alike, since it contains all of their best songs, from "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" and "For tha Love of Money" to "1st of tha Month" and "Tha Crossroads." It also contains their cover of N.W.A.'s "Fuck tha Police," previously only available on a tribute album. It may be of interest to collectors, but it's a weak cover and is the only thing marring this otherwise fine compilation. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

August 15, 2001: This is the greatest cd ever put out. 5 stars by far on this one. All the songs were great exspecially 1st of The Month, and Days of Our Lives. Crossroads was tight as well, but i cant choose the best.
